The Wonderful Life of Melly-Jelly...

Well, turns out my summer vacation so far is okay, been getting a lot of drawing done and hopefully I'll be able to color them in and scan them and then show them to you all! Yay! -cough-

But, onto other matters.... I have decided to make my very own COMIC! DEAR GOD, HAS MELLY-JELLY GONE INSANE!?!?!?! -spazzes-


Well, actually I am already insane so no need to worry. o.o -secretly converses with evil chipmunks of dooooooooooooooom!-


-cough cough- Anywhooooooo... my comic, yes... Um, welll... I've decided to make it a sort of greek mythology type comic thingy, since you hardly ever see those. Yes yes, and the plot is still somewhat being figured out, but I do have the basic outline of what's going to happen in my comic. Har har har! So far, the story begins years after the mighty Theseus -cough cough- slayed the minotaur, and thus freeing the people of Crete from the monstrous appetite of the minotaur. (he ate seven youths and seven maidens very frequently. o.o) So, everyone is basically happy now... but there have been sightings of minotaurs on the island of Crete, thus setting the people into a panic. (remeber this is like.. decades after Theseus slaughtered the first minotaur)


Sooooo... the people of Crete decide to have it's best warriors go out and slaughter the other minotaur (which actually there's a whole village of minotaurs, but that's later. ) but to decide which of the daring young men are the best of the best, they hold a tournament. Sort of like the olympics. All abled bodied men participate in the tournament, and one of the main characters, named Deimos, also participates. And of course, Deimos wins along with four other men the "best warrior" or whatnot title. (I need to think of another title. o.o)


Now, for the village of minotaurs....It's a rather small village, since minotaurs breed rather slowly considering their life span is waaaaaaay longer than a human beings. The whole village only consists of about, 35 minotaurs... which 19 are male and 16 are female. (not including some of the children) And basically the village is run by a priestess, who is thought to "communicate" with the Gods. (ancient greek gods, of course.) The current priestess is one of the other main characters, Daedmyr's, childhood friend whose name I still have not decided on. Anyways, I bet all you of already know who Daedmyr is. >_> -cough cough- look at my gallery -cough cough-


Anywaaaaaaaaaaays... That's all I'm going to tell, because otherwise I'll spoil it. o.o Yes, but I still need help on creating more characters... but I think I will make one of the "best warrior" people ma-jig thingies be actually a girl, just disguised. (yes, I know.. it's been over-done but I need to have a girl char or else I won't be able to draw purdy eyes. ;_


Yaaar, anywho, what'ca think? o.o Say whether it's good, so-so, or OMG WTF WERE YOU THINKING!?!?!
